All our fish comes from Newlyn on the other side of the bay, while the meat is from a farm in nearby St Just, meaning that whether you are enjoying a romantic dinner in the restaurant or a light lunch on the suntrap terrace, you will be sure the very best Cornwall has to offer.
One of the delights of the restaurant is the fresh local and mainly organic ingredients that we use. Our talented team of chefs are spoiled with the quality of Cornish produce and take great satisfaction in preparing and cooking it in ways that best complements the great natural flavours and textures. For example, and you can really taste the freshness of fish landed that morning and cooked expertly that same day. Our meat is from a local farmer whose animal welfare is amongst the best practice in the country - you’ll find the tenderness of the meat proof of it.
We can cater for all dietary requirements. Just let us know and Chef will propose something exciting and different for you every night. For families with young children, we offer a children’s menu or chef can prepare anything off the a la carte menu smaller and more simply prepared to suit.
Considering the quality, you’ll find our a la carte prices are very reasonable and our portions generous.
