We are rightly proud of the Mount Haven Restaurant.
The decor is chic and inviting, with comfortable seating,
crisp white table linen, fresh flowers, and beautiful
local art for you to enjoy.
The emphasis of the menu is on simplicity and taste.
It’s this straightforward approach to cooking that
allows the quality of the ingredients to shine through
and it has also has helped us win numerous awards
over the years.
One of the delights of the restaurant is the fresh local,
and mainly organic ingredients that we use.
Our talented team of award-winning chefs are spoiled
with the quality of Cornish produce and take great
satisfaction in preparing and cooking it in ways that
best complements the great natural flavours and textures.
For example, all our fish comes from the port of
Newlyn just the other side of the bay. It may sound
obvious, but you can really taste the freshness of fish
landed that morning and cooked expertly that same
day. The meat is from a local farmer right at the tip
of the Peninsular in St Just. His animal welfare is
amongst the best practice in the country - you’ll find
the tenderness of the meat proof of it.
Considering the quality, you’ll find our a la carte prices
are very reasonable and our portions very generous.
