Cornwall benefits from an average of over 1,500 hours of sunshine a year, so not surprisingly our garden terrace is a big attraction.

Like the rest of the hotel, it has a contemporary feel with wood decking and uncluttered balustrades that give uninterrupted views of the bay. When the weather is fine, which is often, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco coffee, lunch or pre or post dinner drinks.

With its combination of wood, glass and steel, the terrace was built to take full advantage of the view across to St Michael's Mount, and enjoys the sun for most of the day.

But be warned, the incredibly fresh air here really stimulates the appetite and often necessitates an afternoon nap!
