Truro City of Lights - Glow
The city of Truro begins the festive celebrations throughout the county in a spectacular fashion, as the streets come alive with light, art, music and dance. A procession of withy made creations, fill the streets with a warming glow, as local artists, school children, college students and community members parade through Truro.
Eden's Festival of Light & Sound
25th November - 30th December
Visit the Eden Project for an unforgettable display of light, music and colour. Step out onto the viewing platform and gaze in awe as dramatic lasers pierce through the darkness to create a canopy of light, illuminating Eden’s lush landscape.
Trelissick Garden Illuminations
1st - 3rd, 8th - 10th, 15th - 23rd & 27th - 31st December
See the garden transform into an illuminated wonderland this season as Trelissick opens from dusk onward, leading you to places previously untouched by Christmas. Follow the meandering paths to vividly lit dense foliage and giant trees, creating festive magic throughout your journey. Visit the house after your adventure and warm up next to the roaring fire, view the Christmas tree, adorned with reds and golds - where you may spot a fairy or two!
Trengwainton Lantern Walk
1st & 2nd December
Visit from 5.30pm and enjoy the magical atmosphere of the garden as it is scattered with flaming bamboo torches, hundreds of fairy lights and withy made lanterns, made by local school children. Make an evening of it and relax in the orchard, where winter warming food & drinks will be available, as well as entertainment from local bands and choirs.
Heligan by Night
14th - 16th, 21st - 23rd December & 28th - 30th December
Step into ‘Heligan by Night’ this December and experience the art of illumination, with incredible textures, colours and atmosphere, created by internationally renowned light artist Ulf Pedersen. Journey through an after dark Lost Gardens which brings light to the landscape.
